FOUNDER + Owner
Sylvia Medrano
My path to Studio Medrano began with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute, where I learned from designers, drafting professionals, and contractors actively working in the field. That real world perspective gave me an early understanding of design beyond the studio. My first role at a design build firm quickly sparked a love for construction, and shaped the way I approach every project today.
I’m drawn to the bones of a home: how spaces connect, how they function, and how thoughtful planning can completely change the way a home feels. From spatial planning to materials and finishes, I love bringing all the layers of a home together. When I’m not getting my boots dirty on a job site, I’m usually deep in a floor plan, refining the details before they ever make it into the field.
Studio Medrano lives at the intersection of architecture, construction, and interiors, creating homes that feel considered, elevated, and effortless.
Spaces shaped around the way you live.
